Many of you noticed that it's been a whole year since we produced "Greenheart". And you keep asking:
What's with the next album?
We really want to create and publish a new record for you. And we want to do it well. We've already sold couple of hundreds "Greenheart" EPs and it was only at our concerts or via the website. The second record should be accessible for a broader audience: in music stores, music portals... everywhere. We cannot really be sure that one of the recording companies will want to produce our not-so-mainstream celtic music (although we still hope for it...), so we have another idea:

The idea behind Sellaband is not so complicated. The fans buy "parts" of the band they believe in (so they're call Believers). Those parts represent an investment, similarily to stocks at the stock exchange. Each part is worth $10. When a band have sold 5 thousand of those parts (which sums up to $50,000), it records and publishes an album using the money raised - a proffessional album. The money is spend on the studio (one of those in which some of most popular bands recorded), marketing (including TV spots and many other promotional events) and, last but not least, for printing the CDs and sending them to the Believers. Yes, sir, every Believer gets a Limited Edition of the CD for every part he or she invested! No extra costs, straight to the mailbox. It's not all - as an addition, the record goes also to the regular stores and the income is divided proportionally among the fans, the band and Sellaband. Easy, huh?

In a nutshell:
you buy "parts" - up to exactly 5 thousand pieces;
we reach $50K;
the recording is made;
5 thousand of Limited Edition CDs (with extras) go straight to all the believers;
a regular edition of the recording is distributed on-line (eg. on Amazon.com) and in stores all over the world. 1/3 of the income goes to everybody who bought parts;
you can buy more then one part. The more you buy the more CDs you get. You can keep them, give them away, sell them for as much as you like (or let Sellaband sell them for you, with profit). The Limited Edition is only 5 thousand CDs and they're really exclusive in comparison with "regulars".

wait patiently for our success, your share of CDs and profits from them. Finally, the last but not the least, be a part of promoting Banshee style and our interpretation of celtic folk throughout the world!
Couple of importans things:
You can withdraw your parts whenever you like and invest then in another band or have them returned to you in cash (minus operational costs).
To buy a part on your own you will need a valid credit card or a PayPal account.
I don't have a credit card - what can I do?
create your profile, contact us and transfer the appropriate sum of money to our account (by mail, bank transfer or any other way);
as soon as we receive the payment, the parts will land on your account;
It is crucial that the profile is created by you, with your contact data. Thanks to that you will get the CDs at the address you specified.
